The new numbers are in: ACS journals expand #1 rankings in chemistry and related sciences

As reported in the newly released 2006 Thomson Scientific (ISI) Journal Citation Reports ®, ACS peer-reviewed journals rank #1 in citations or impact factor in the seven core chemistry subject categories. ACS journals also rank #1 in eight additional subject categories, ranging from agriculture to polymer science, nanoscience & nanotechnology, and—for the first time—crystallography. ACS journals exceeded 1.2 million total citations in 2006, an increase of 9% over 2005.

For more complete data about citations and impact factors, go to our "Most-Cited Journals" web page.
