Notice anything different about the ACS Publications website?

In May 2007, the first major updates since 1998 were deployed to the ACS Publications home page and to 34 journal home pages.

In addition to providing a fresh new look, the updates make searches for articles or news and information easier and more efficient for users. Additional benefits include links to technical divisions, faster page loading, and decreased bandwidth use. Please tell your patrons about our new Author & Reviewer Resource Center, which was deployed as a part of this effort.

Atypon Systems, Inc., selected to provide ACS website content delivery platform

ACS Publications selected Atypon Systems, Inc., a leading provider of e-publishing solutions, to develop a new software platform to support the delivery of ACS journal content.

Atypon brings considerable experience in providing scholarly publishers with sophisticated, flexible, and cost-effective platforms for e-content delivery. Under the terms of the agreement, ACS will host its content locally using the Atypon Premium application suite. In addition, Atypon will work with the in-house ACS software development team to help integrate the new content delivery platform into ACS’s existing technology infrastructure, providing a seamless look and feel and a consistent experience across all ACS online services.
