Note: Your C&EN subscription number is both your Member ID and your password; do not use your acs.org login
Your subscription number for an ACS journal can be found on the mailing label of each mailed issue. The FIRST 8 DIGITS of the long number at the top of the mailing label compose the 8-digit subscriber number required to access various online features of your journal subscription. Often a subscriber may have the same subscription number for all journals to which he/she subscribes; however, this is not always the case. Please make a note of the subscription number for each ACS journal to which you subscribe.
This is where the subscription number is located on each mailing label.

NOTE: Not all number sequences are the same on each label!
