IRREVERSIBLE In a demonstration of pseudodynamic combinatorial chemistry, Kazlauskas, Gleason, and coworkers showed that an irreversible hydrolysis reaction could be used to select for aryl sulfonamide dipeptides that bound most strongly to--and were thus potentially the best inhibitors (Ibest) of--a carbonic anhydrase target.
