New Version Of Chemistry.org Launched
The American Chemical Society last week launched a new version of its chemistry.org website. The new site is designed to be a portal--or gateway--to chemistry-related content on the Internet and is targeted to a wide audience ranging from scientists to policymakers to the general public. Improved navigation and search functions point readers to news and feature stories, research tools, educational resources, and information in chemistry. In addition, the site includes content from and links to a variety of trusted sources of chemistry-related news and information. And content on the new site can be personalized to fit the needs of each individual user.
"The new chemistry.org is a major step forward in the evolution of the American Chemical Society's Internet presence and demonstrates the society's continuing commitment to serve its members and their profession with invaluable tools and resources," says Louise Voress, chemistry.org manager. "The site will continue to improve and evolve as a result of feedback from users."
