Presented by the American Chemical Society's Joint Board /Council Committee on Copyrights

(Note: The Copyright Status Form and Copyright Permission Request Form are in the Adobe PDF format. The Adobe Acrobat Reader for Macintosh, Windows, DOS, or Unix can be obtained from Adobe's World Wide Web server.)

The ACS Publications Division Copyright Office is now accepting copyright permission requests via email: copyright@acs.org. Even though we do accept requests via email, we respond via fax, so be sure to include your name, affiliation, mailing address and fax number.

As with written requests, please include the full reference citation for the material (full text, figures, tables, etc.) that you would like to use, and the purpose for reusing the material, e.g. let us know where the text/figure will be reused; if it will be republished, let us know the full reference citation for the journal article or book chapter; if it will be republished in a book, give us the name of the publishing company.
