Abstract

A new molecular dynamics simulator, "The Collisions Cube", for use in the classroom is described. The simulator provides a three-dimensional perspective of molecular motion and can be used to illustrate a range of topics including: molecular motion of gases, liquids and solids, pressure, chemical equilibrium, entropy, and activation energy.
