Abstract

In order to capture the discussions and grassroots efforts that followed the publication of "Scholarship Reconsidered," in October 1995, the ACS Division of Chemical Education and the Educational Research and Methods Division of the American Society of Engineering Education cosponsored an electronic conference, "Can We Implement the Scholarship of Teaching?" Four position papers by respected chemistry and engineering educators were solicited and posted prior to the conference in order to stimulate and focus discussion.
