Abstract

Part One discusses the U.S. program in chemical and biological weapons. Part Two focuses on the Middle East: the Iran-Iraq war, and the Gulf War and its aftermath. Part Three looks at the use of chemical and biological weapons by terrorists, treaties and their enforcement, and ends with a discussion of the ethical issues surrounding these weapons.
