Abstract
In this article, a new simple and low-cost apparatus is introduced that provides the possibility to display temperature measurements in any lecture hall. The apparatus provides analog displays. Its construction requires only simple and inexpensive materials. Its main components are an ammeter, a glass tube, a temperature sensor, a 9-V battery, a variable resistance, and an on-off switch. Among the advantages of the apparatus are the linear behavior of the temperature sensor in the range 0-100 °C, the simplicity of its calibration, and of course the fact that the data can be displayed. In addition, the apparatus can be used for measurements in strong acid or base solutions.
