Abstract
The January 1925 issue of the Journal contains a delightful play, The Cinderella of Metals, based on the chemistry of the group IA and IB elements. The play, which was produced by a 4th-grade class in Chicago, follows the Cinderella theme with Copper as the central character. An updated version of the play has been staged by a group of would-be playwrights and actors at the University of Florida.
