Abstract

The February 1930 issue of JCE contains an article, "Calcium Chloride for Snow Removal", by Lionel Richardson. The author presents a photograph and personal observations of an experimental truck/trailer combination for spreading CaCl₂ on Brooklyn's streets after a heavy snowstorm. The From Past Issues story summarizes the 1930 paper and directs readers to additional library resources on snow removal.
