"Real-Time" Chemistry and Chemical Education

Abstract

The National Science Foundation's Division of Chemistry is committed to supporting cutting-edge research in chemistry and inititives that help to integrate this research into the educational enterprise in "real time". Examples based on the Nanotechnology Undergraduate Education (NUE) and Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) programs are described. Goals of the Division of Chemistry are to promote inclusiveness and to building agility, strength, and community.
