Abstract

Articles by Lyman C. Newell and Wilhelm Prandtl contain collections of caricatures of historical figures in chemistry. The often humorous artwork heightens the readers’ curiosity about science history, but, by themselves, the caricatures cannot serve as the sole source of historical information.
