Abstract

A continuing goal of the Council on Undergraduate Research is to emphasize the necessity of supporting undergraduate research opportunities across all federal research programs. To achieve this objective, CUR and its membership must understand the federal budget landscape and how best to engage in activities at the federal level that will impact the funds available for undergraduate research. CUR has enlisted the support of Washington Partners, LLC, a government relations and public relations firm, to help educate CUR members on these critical issues.
