Abstract

When asked in to offer a professional skills course to graduate students in microbiology, Peggy Pritchard was struck by her students’ need for a wide range of career advice. She set out to find this advice, interviewing 350 women scientists in North America and Europe in the process of doing so. This useful and interesting book distills their collective wisdom.
