Abstract

Volume phase holographic technology was originally developed and commercialized to produce holographic combiners for head-up displays (HUD) in fighter aircraft. By applying this technology to meet the needs of Raman spectroscopy three new optical components have been developed and incorporated into the latest generation of Raman instrumentation.
