Quantitative Determination of DNA–Ligand Binding: Improved Data Analysis
Abstract
Eamonn Healy recently published in this Journal a fine undergraduate biochemistry laboratory project on the binding of the fluorescent ligand DAPI (4,6-diamidino-2-phenylindole) to DNA. For the benefit of faculty who plan to adopt this unique project, I would like to make a few suggestions to improve the data analysis.
