Abstract

Abstract Image

The reactions of [Os(CO)(CA)(PPh3)3] (A = O, S) with 4,7,10-trithiatrideca-2,11-diyne provide cyclopentadienone and cyclopentadienethione complexes, the latter affording a novel polythioether macrotricyclic ligand on subsequent treatment with dimethylacetylenedicarboxylate.
