James G. Masters is a research scientist at Colgate-Pamolive Technology Center (909 River Rd., Piscataway, NJ 08855-1343; 908-878-7633). He has presented and written papers in the area of rheology and dentifrice component interactions and has published in the fields of inorganic chemistry and polymer science. He received a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania.
