Cantara Loop, Dunsmuir,  Calif. $14.0 million March 1994 Biocide spill destroyed all aquatic life along a 42-mile  stretch of river and caused extensive injuries to a  native trout fishery
Blackbird Mine, Idaho $60.0 million May 1995 Mine drainage has injured endangered chinook  salmon and other fish in a tributary of the Salmon  River, Idaho
