Most
Web browsers have a cache (pronounced "cash"), or storage area. Web pages
are stored in the cache, along with their Web addresses, so that the
browser can display pages quickly, without visiting the same websites
repeatedly. The cache has a fixed capacity that is set by a menu choice
in your browser settings. Once this capacity is exceeded, newer Web pages
you visit replace those that you visited earlier.
Sometime, if a page changes after your last visit there, your browser
displays an out-of-date version that is in your cache, instead of
visiting the wesite for the current version.
Instructions for clearing your browser cache are available for several
