Preparation and Submission of Manuscripts

The Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry publishes fundamental and applied research papers in a broad scientific area dealing with the chemistry and biochemistry of all aspects of agriculture and food. The Journal also encourages papers combining chemistry and/or biochemistry with biological/sensory/toxicological evaluation. Contributed papers must report original research, that is, have a definable impact on the advancement of science and technology. Originality will be documented by novel experimental results, theoretical treatments, and interpretations of data.
