Submission and Authoring in ACS Paragon Plus

Specifications for Web Enhanced Objects

The Web editions of the ACS journals allow authors to make use of multimedia attachments as Web Enhanced Objects to enhance the understanding of the research being reported in their manuscripts. Web Enhanced Objects should be submitted at the same time as the original article. When creating Web Enhanced Objects, consideration should be given to the time that will be required for the reader to download the file. The maximum file size should not exceed 5 MB.

The following file types are currently acceptable as Web Enhanced Objects in ACS journals. Should you have a file type that is not on this list but you feel should be considered for a Web Enhanced Object, please contact paragonplus@acs.org.
