ACS Publications: High Quality, High Impact

National Chemistry Week 2006

In celebration of National Chemistry Week, ACS Publications has listed over 100 current “Hot Papers” as recognized by Thomson ISI®’s Essential Science Indicators. Hot Papers are articles published within the last 2 years receiving the most citations over the most recent 2-month period. For the current two month period, the ISI® recognizes 244 total Hot Papers in chemistry alone, with ACS Publications accounting for 41 of the top 100, or more than 40% of the ‘hottest’ papers in chemistry!

Listed below are the Hot Papers from The Journal of Organic Chemistry for September-October 2006:

  1. Amino Acid Promoted CuI-Catalyzed C-N Bond Formation between Aryl Halides and Amines or N-Containing Heterocycles
