WEB EDITION ORDERING GUIDELINES
- Please provide full information, including customer/end user name, contact name, phone, fax, and e-mail address, when ordering for proper notification that Web access has been activated.
- Subscriptions at ACS member rates are for personal use only.
- ACS Members may subscribe to a total of five journals in print, Web Edition, and/or Archives formats.
Payment in full must accompany each order. (Bank advice is not acceptable). ACS will not process any subscription orders for which full payment has not been included with the order.
Payment should be made in U.S. dollars. If you pay by check, use an instrument drawn on a U.S. banking institution. (Include a $35.00 U.S. bank processing fee if you remit by check drawn on a non-U.S. banking institution.) International Money Orders expressed in U.S. dollars are acceptable. Wire Transfers in U.S. dollars may be made to ACS at Bank of America, N.A., 1501 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20013, U.S.A.; Account 002080589526; ABA Routing and Transit Number: 0260-0959-3; SWIFT number BOFAUS3N. Please specify that wire payment is intended for Member and Subscriber Services or M & SS. For payment by wire transfer or direct deposit, please add $18.00 for bank processing fee. - All orders for 2007 volumes must be postmarked no later than February 1, 2008, in order to qualify for 2007 subscription rates. Any orders postmarked after this date will be processed as back issues at the back issue price in effect.
- Payment must include applicable taxes. As of press time, the following rates apply: 7% Canadian GST for all orders shipped to Canada; applicable sales tax for all orders shipped to CA, DC, IL, MD, OH.
- Place renewal orders as early as possible to avoid an interruption in service. Domestic airmail rates available on request.
TO EXPEDITE SERVICE, PLEASE INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Name and complete address of customer/end user; on all international orders be sure to specify country.
- Customer account number, invoice number or membership number from your invoice or mailing label.
- For each customer, be sure to specify the name of journal or service code being ordered and the subscription rate.
- Payment of total dollar amount ordered; for payment of orders outside the U.S., see Orders and Payments section.
CLAIMS POLICY
The ACS policy is to replace any missing issue that is not received at the time
of its initial mailing. It is the customer's responsibility to monitor receipt
of each issue and, if necessary, make a timely claim within the time limits
specified here. Claims beyond the stated time limits will be handled as a back
issue order. A maximum of one claim per issue will be sent free of charge. ACS
cannot guarantee the availability of all print issues and reserves the right
to substitute a microfiche edition or cash refund in place of the printed edition.
For all ACS periodicals shipped to addresses within the U.S.A., Canada, and Mexico, including those periodicals being shipped to a specified U.S. freight forwarder, claims must be submitted within three months of the issue date.
For all ACS periodicals shipped via ACS air delivery service outside the U.S.A., Canada, and Mexico, claims must be submitted within six months of the issue date. Claims for those periodicals for shich international surface delivery is offered must be submitted within one year of issue date.
