U.S. EPA student fellowships galore

Circle November 23 on your calendar: U.S. students and permanent-resident foreign students in environmental fields have until that date to apply for 2005 fellowships that offer up to $37,000 per year for graduate students and as much as $17,000 per year for undergraduates. EPA’s Science to Achieve Results (STAR) and Greater Research Opportunities (GRO) programs fund the fellowships for students at the master’s and doctoral levels. Undergraduates apply to the GRO program for support in their junior and senior years and a summer internship at an EPA facility. For details, go to http://es.epa.gov/ncer/rfa/2004/2005_star_grad_fellow.html, http://es.epa.gov/ncer/rfa/2004/2005_gro_grad_fellow.html, or http://es.epa.gov/ncer/rfa/2004/2005_gro_undergrad_fellow.html.
