U.S. EPA student fellowships galore
Circle November 23 on your calendar: U.S. students and permanent-resident foreign
students in environmental fields have until that date to apply for 2005 fellowships
that offer up to $37,000 per year for graduate students and as much as $17,000
per year for undergraduates. EPA’s Science to Achieve Results (STAR) and
Greater Research Opportunities (GRO) programs fund the fellowships for students
at the master’s and doctoral levels. Undergraduates apply to the GRO program
for support in their junior and senior years and a summer internship at an EPA
