The cover shows one of a sequence of photos taken after a small crystal of K2Cr2O7(s) was pushed into a droplet of AgNO3(aq) on the stage of a microscope. The beautiful crystals of Ag2CrO4(s) that form are sure to elicit “Wow!” and “Cool!” responses. This reaction and others are described in detail in Ramette’s article of this issue.
