Chemical Safety in Universities: Legally Enforced vs Culturally Embraced

ACS Chemical Health & Safety welcomes submissions that provide an overview and discussion of chemical safety practices in university laboratories operating in countries that have little to no regulations that address small-scale chemical users. While regulations can help define safety practices, this Special Issue aims to remember that economic, cultural, organizational, and technical factors influence what will be the best approach for different countries that need their own regulations and approaches. Submission Deadline: August 31, 2025
